... Ready for it ?! (Aurélie, France)

​Madonna, have I been in Slovenia half a month already?! Time passes by... but let's not get lost! 
I'm Aurélie. French girl but not really. In fact, I'm from Corsica, the most beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea. What can I say? Big identity and proud to be Corsican  ❤️
(And as you can see, I love beach and montains and Corsica is surrounded by them! 😍)

So, I'm one of the 2024 volunteers with Ekopot from March to November and I'm really really really happy to have this chance spending several months in a new country while learning a lot of different things and meeting new people! 

Should I do an introduction ? My story is kinda 'boring' I would say : after finishing my master's degree in Ecology and doing some jobs here and there in France, I was feeling I was missing something, or at least at that moment, I was looking forward to a new adventure in my life. Learning about ESC volunteering, I realized it was the best opportunity for me to be able to move to a different country for some time, learning and admiring all the things and beauties it can offer! 

Then, once I knew about this opportunity, it didn't take me long to search for an ESC project in the environment theme. After spending years behind a computer during classes in the university, I was eager to reconnect with nature and earth, to put my hands in the soil and actually touch and smell it. And what is better than doing it on an organic farm, learning bio-dynamic ways - growing fruits and vegetables while taking care of the soil, fauna and flora, whatever micro or macro, living there ?
