Salty Maj... (Julia, Spain/Argentina)

Hey! What's up? May arrived as fast as the hot weather in Slovenian Summer. In a week we planted watermelons and pumpkins, harvested our first baby carrots and ate the sweetest strawberries in earth (I might or might not be exaggerating a bit haha).
We went for a concert in Cersak and we spent an amazing evening dancing and making some friends, it's incredible how much I've missed live music and some lovely company.
This month we made some pesto out of nettle, garlic, olive oil and salt... I must admit that even if I'm a bit old school with the pasta I enjoyed a lot my fideos tirabuzón with homemade farm-style pesto ;)
I don't know if I told you about it, but I love my birthday... As my grandmother would say, bithdays are to make you remember that there's nobody like you in this world, and that you are unique and special. That's exactly how I felt on May 30th this year, full of love and care. My friend Aldi came to visit and made me an unusual cake with two things that I really like: pancakes and yogurt :) And everybody here gave me the best present I could ever ask for, their presence. I'm super gratefull.
