Like at home (Cristina, Spain)

On the first of May there is a bank holiday where bonfires are lit and people gather around them. I was in Ptuj, a charming town where there was a concert and a huge bonfire:

One weekend we decided to go all out and go with our new partner to a rock concert where we didn't have high hopes for fun but it ended up being a lot of fun. We were literally in the middle of nowhere. 

And finally, we could sing...

In the middle of the month I was able to see my sister, we planned to meet again in Budapest, a city I fell in love with.

Despite the fun times, the hard work on the farm required perseverance, discipline and commitment.
This was a rewarding day of work, arranging the greenhouse to house sweet potatoes.

It turned out really well!

In the accomodatio, during the evenings, a second family for everyone was emerging. Every guest we used to meet in the garden to eat, drink wine, laugh, watch football and enjoy each other's company. Slovenians, Bulgarians, Serbs, French, Spanish, Czechs, Indians and any nationality is welcome at this table.

The month ended with a last getaway to Croatia. We visited a beautiful national park (Plitvice) that, although there were too many tourists, I enjoyed a lot.
