Discovering Vienna - Thomas (France)

Now is the time for us to discover the wonderful city of Vienna. On our first night there, we decided on a vegan restaurant that turned out to be really cool! The food was tasty, flavorful, and colorful, and the place was comfy and friendly. After the restaurant we headed to Prater which is a kind of funfair in a vast park. We were surprised to see that the fair was almost completely empty that night, so we just walked around for a few minutes before heading back to the hostel for the night.

The day after, we went for the whole tour of the city on foot. Although Vienna is a big city, it is not complicated to walk all around it in a day or two. There are a lot of wonderful buildings around every corner. Every time you think you have seen everything, you just turn left or right and find another either old, nice-looking building or a museum, or even an atypical building such as the Hundertwasserhaus which just blew our mind with its originality.

Although one or two days are enough for walking around the city, 3 days would hve allowed to visit more museums or the Opera for example.
